4.5. VirtualBox

Install VirtualBox:

  • using the Ubuntu package:

  • using the VirtualBox package:

You may install the extension pack:

The usage of shared folders requires the user to have special permissions:

1sudo usermod -a -G vboxusers $USER

You may add a network with File ‣ Host Network Manager ‣ Create.

4.5.1. CloneVDI

Download CloneVDI.

Install Wine:

1sudo apt install -y wine64

Run CloneVDI with wine64 "/path/to/CloneVDI.exe".
